Trail riding and horse sales

Hello everyone.. I wanted to start a blog to see if there are people out there that are intrested in horses and trail riding in the wonderful state of Virginia. We sell TWH and Spotted Saddle horses of all colors. Riding gaited horses is so much fun and owning one of these woderful equines is a pleasure. I own 5 of my own TWH that I have bought from the Walking-After-Midnight farm. I have bought both my daughters 4 year old horses and they have been perfect from day one. FIRST FRIDAY, WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA

Tomorrow is the First Friday of the month and downtown on the downtown pedestrian mall, shops will be open and several fun and interesting things will be going on.  Always a fun time for everyone!   So, come down to the mall and support this wonderful event!   I know of at least one new restaurant opening that you won’t want to miss-with free samples!!  Be sure to stop in at the Winchester Book Gallery-they always have something new and fun to offer!

DECLUTTER WHEN PREPARING YOUR HOME TO SELL!!

One of the most important things you can do when  you are getting ready to put your home on the market is to remove as many personal and unnecessary items as  you can.  Buyers walking through a house need to remain focused on the home itself.  Knick knacks may take the focus away from the house and take you that much further away from a sale.

FREDERICK COUNTY FAIR

The Frederick County Fair is this week and is a fun place to go! You will want to be sure to visit the crafts, vegetables, cakes, etc that were judged.  Some of them are amazing-my very favorite, being the cake that looked like a cheeseburger.  I always love the -throw the ping pong ball  & win a fish game, but there were many others, as well as a number of rides to enjoy.  Plenty of goodies like, fresh squeezed lemonade, cotton candy and funnel cakes, just to name a few.  Other fun events are taking place, so check the …

COMMUTE TO DULLES AIRPORT FROM WINCHESTER

Within an easy commute of Dulles Airport is Frederick County, Virginia, which includes some smaller areas, including Stephenson, Virginia and the City of Winchester.   Alot of people prefer our area, compared to some northern Virginia areas, as it is a bit more laid back and we have the availability of  cultural opportunities plus streams, rivers and the mountains for outdoor enjoyment. WINCHESTER VIRGINIA-A SHORT DRIVE TO DULLES AIRPORT

A great city to live in, Winchester, Virginia is approximately seventy miles west of Washington, DC and less than an hours drive of Dulles Airport .  Rich in history, the area offers many outdoor activity options with its rivers, streams and lakes.  Plenty of opportunities for entertainment are provided by Winchester Little Theater and Shenandoah University’s, Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre.

FOR FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS-HOMEBUYER TAX CREDIT PLUS

Fantastic news for first time homebuyers in Virginia!!!  The first time home buyer tax credit can be used as a down payment on VHDA mortgage!  The loan has a built in second mortgage to help cover the down payment and closing costs with zero interest and no payments for the first twelve months.  Particulars on the loan can be obtained from a lender.  In the event that you do not have a lender, please feel free to contact me at darcy@mris.com or my cell is 1-540-664-0200 for a list of lenders.
